Short answers.

What is Waz?
Waz is a mobile game where you play a street animal in a Cairo neighbourhood and prank the people who live there. One knocked-over tea glass sets off the owner, the dog and the whole street, and the longer the chain, the bigger your score.
Is it free?
Yes, Waz is free to play with in-app purchases. Prices are real money, shown up front. There is no paid randomness, no energy timer and no premium currency, and you cannot trade items.
Which animals can I play?
Eight: cat, dog, goat and pigeon at launch, then rat, hooded crow, gull and Egyptian mongoose as their seasons arrive. Each has its own breeds and abilities, 43 breeds in all. Meet them.
Is it safe for kids?
It is built for a mixed audience with comedy and no cruelty: no injuries, nothing thrown at animals, people are annoyed and never hostile. We are aiming for a 9+/E10+ rating. The age band decides what starts: under-13s get an anonymous account, no ad IDs and no push. Read the parents’ page.
When does it launch?
Waz is planned for 2027. Join the waitlist and we will email you once when it is out.
Which devices will it run on?
Android and iOS phones, played in landscape with two thumbs. It is being built to run on Android phones from about 3–4 GB of memory up. An Assist mode helps if you would rather not juggle every button.
Who is making it?
Waz is a Frameless Games game, developed by Standouta.
Which languages?
Arabic and English, with Arabic first. The interface is light Modern Standard Arabic and the jokes are Egyptian.
Can I play offline?
Partly. City Life, Prank Trials, Stories and Photo Mode work offline. Chase Hour, Ranked Chase and Co-op Chaos need a connection.
Can I play with friends?
Yes, from age 13. Co-op Chaos is for parties of 2–4, and rooms hold up to 8. There is no voice chat and no free text; players talk with quick chat and emotes.
Is the neighbourhood real?
Haret el-Waz is an invented quarter built from real Cairo: its cafés, bakeries, rooftops and the Corniche. The shops and brands in it are fictional.
How do I delete my account or my waitlist email?
Inside the game, Settings has "Delete my account". You can also ask by email.
